Big Toddle at Blackpool Zoo

Few children and their carers from Croston took part in the Barnardos Big Toddle at Blackpool Zoo on Tuesday 28th June 2016.

The weather was a little bit wet but it didn’t dampen the mood! The children were rewarded with a little medal and a certificate once they finish their walk. The money raised on the day was split between Barnardos and Croston Pre-school.

Thank you to everybody who took part!номер телефона банк хоум кредит

Teddy bear trail was a lovely day out on the Croft

Thank you to everybody who joined us for the teddy bear trail on the Croft on Saturday 25th June 2016. We were lucky with  the  weather and the families enjoyed a lovely trek around the croft whilst finding some teddy pictures. The staff also sold refreshments and children took part in some teddy bear games.

We managed to raise £292 for the pre-school. Thank you!займ в воронеже

Croston Pre-School Children Highly Visible on Their Train Trip to Ormskirk

The older children at Croston Pre‐school Nursery were very happy to wear their new high visibility vests when they set off for a little train trip to Ormskirk on Monday 20th June 2016. The new vest had been donated to the pre‐school by Ormskirk Specsavers.

Bit of drizzle didn’t dampen the mood and the children walked very swiftly and happily to Croston station. They were very excited to see the train and get on board.  One little boy was going to join the train trip with his mum, but they just missed the train! Luckily one of the committee members managed to give them a quick lift to Rufford train station where they joined the group (and as an extra treat the little boy was allowed to close the track barriers when the train stopped at Rufford!).

The parents and pre‐school staff were very proud of the kids and enjoyed the stories about the things the kids had seen on their little day out.хоум кредит бесплатный номер телефона

Pre-school opens on Monday as normal

Our premises are being environmentally cleaned ready for opening on Monday morning. The staff look forward to seeing all our children and their families next week in the Old School hall. Please tell the children that the water came into pre-school but it’s gone now and we’re going to have some fun playing in the Old School hall while we make our beautiful setting ready again.
Thank you!

Update (4pm, Monday 4th January 2016)

Wow. we made it! The Monday children have settled into our new environment and are having lots of fun. We should like to thank everyone for all the support we have been offered over the last few days – we have come over one immense hurdle and we would not have been able to do it without you.
We are sorry to say that we are not able to offer the Weds “Stay and Play” session this week but we are making plans and hope to be able to get it up and running very soon. Yet again we ask you to watch this space and we will publish an up-date as soon as possible.
